Seeking a highly experienced Events Production Manager ideally with a strong knowledge of all areas of Production including Sound, Lighting, Video, Rigging, Logistics, Staging and Health & Safety although those with specific areas of specialism will certainly be considered. This will offer the successful candidate the chance to work within some of London’s most iconic events venues and on a variety of bespoke events!
The primary function of this role is to build and manage production led corporate events from concept to completion, alongside managing existing accounts/clients and working closely with new clients.
You will also be responsible for dealing with new enquiries, creating bespoke proposals and managing projects. The role requires a strong technical focus with excellent client management skills. Production Managers drive and execute a variety of events from initial enquiry through to delivery on the day.
You will be joining a creative team of 5 Production Managers and 4 designers, who will work alongside you to deliver over 400 events a year varying in size and scale. In some of London’s iconic events venues working together with cutting edge media companies and high-profile performers.
o Must have several years proven experience running a variety of production events.
o Excellent client facing and account management skills.
o Ideally a broad knowledge and experience of all production disciplines would be an advantage including sound, lighting, video, rigging, transport, logistics, staging & health and safety.
o Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar technical drawing software would also be an advantage but training can be given.
o Ability to hit the ground running and work under pressure during peak seasons.
o Manage multiple events simultaneously, from budget to delivery
o Ability to produce creative briefs, working as an integral part of the sales process
o Passionate about providing high-quality production fulfilling & exceeding client’s expectations
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Attend client meetings and site visits
o Produce quotes, CAD plans and proposals
o Write up RAMS and event safety management plans
o Manage event logistics; booking scheduling kit, crew, transportation
o Managing and reporting on budget
o Overseeing events on site
o Be proactive and upsell across all departments
o Attend networking events and new business meetings
o Ability to recognise new business opportunities within the market
o Work closely with the team to produce and attend pitches
o Safety – have a basic understanding of our legal obligations towards health and safety and the roles of all duty holders under CDM2015
o First Aid
